Visual Inspection 2023

At $15 per tank including your air fill, you can save a few dollars and help pad the club bank account!

You can pick the number of tanks you need to VIP during the checkout process. Please print and complete the FIRST section of the inspection form for EACH of your cylinders. We will complete the rest of the inspection form during the event.

HYDROSTATIC TESTING: If your cylinder's last hydro test date stamp is older than 10 / 16 (Oct 2016) ... then your cylinder needs a hydro test this year. We will be collecting all tanks for hydro's during the VIP day. The price for hydro's is $35 - cash. Please have the payment ready when you leave your tank for its test. We will bring them all in for hydro's at the same time and return them when they are done.

Process for VIP Day:

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

Download and complete section one of the attached document for each of the cylinders that you will be inspecting.

Drain all air from your cylinder(s).

THE DAY OF THE EVENT

1. Please arrive ON-TIME for your appointment window with your cylinders EMPTY.

2. Bring your cylinders into the shop via the SIDE ENTRANCE.

3. Wear your facemask.

4. Have your paperwork ready.

5. You will have a 1.5 hour window to complete your inspections. This is necessary to facilitate all club members while also following Covid-19 regulations. Sanitation stations will be accessible in the shop.

INSPECTION PROCESS

1. Inspect the outside of your cylinder and complete section 2 of the inspection form.

2. Remove the valve from your cylinder and complete section 3 of the inspection form.

3. Examine the threads on your cylinder and complete section 4 of the inspection form.

4. Examine your valve, remove the old o-ring and replace with a new o-ring. Complete section 5 of the inspection form.

5. Let the Cylinder Inspector know you are ready for a final check.

6. The Inspector will sign off on each cylinder if the cylinder has passed the inspection process. The inspector will complete section 6 of the inspection form.

7. Add a small amount of lubircant to the threads of the valve and replace in the cylinder.

8. We will fill your cylinder with AIR. If you wish to have NITROX in your cylinder, please have $10 - cash, credit - per cylinder to pay for your NITROX fill. (An AIR fill is already included in the price of your inspection.)

9. As new members arrive for their appointments ... you need to leave! We need to keep the total number of people withing the guidelines.
