If you are already a diver but have been out of the water for a while, sign up for an Open Water Diver Refresher. It is the safest way to dust off your skills and prepare for your next dive.

Cost:

Cansac Members: Free
Non-Members: $25*

The OWD Refresher is a personal one hour session in the pool with one of our certified divemasters and is offered by appointment only. You will review the skills you were taught in your Open Water Diver course and work on your bouyancy and trim to get your ready for an upcoming vacation or the next dive season. If you have not been diving in the last 12 months, it is highly recommended that you complete a refresher before diving in the open water.

Non-club members who complete the OWD Refresher are eligible for $25.00 credit towards club membership if they should decide to join our club afterwards.

*Your $25.00 fee covers pool time and your divemaster. Divers are responsible for supplying their own equipment for use in the pool. All participants in the Open Water Diver Refresher course must provide proof of previous certification and sign the club waiver form before they may enter the pool area with any scuba equipment. We will be glad to update your logbook showing proof of your refresher course if your bring it with you.
