The Canadian Sub-Aqua Club offers a variety of traiing oppourtunities within the club. Our most popular is our regularily scheduled ACUC Open Water Diver program which is the first rung in the scuba ladder and gives graduates a certification that is recognized world-wide allowing them to dive anywhere. The Canadian Sub-Aqua Club has instructors accredited by ACUC, PADI, NAUI, SDI, TDI and DAN and can offer certifications from any of the agencies mentioned.
The ACUC Open Water Diver Program: - Course Requirements
Fall Course begins at the end of September and the Winter course begins in early January.
- 11 weeks of pool and classroom (Monday evenings)
- course fee includes all books, tables and scuba equipment in the pool

also includes 1 year membership in the Canadian Sub-Aqua Club
- open access to the club dive schedule
- pool access for swimming or scuba every Monday night
- standing invitation to all club social events
- liability insurance covers you on all club dives
- listen-in privildges for all club training courses
- check out dives for both courses are every spring (referrals also available)
