The first dive committee meeting was held on Monday, January 9th and we have established a tentative dive shedule for this season. Pencil these dates in your calendar, but please note they have not been finalized until they have been marked CONFIRMED.
This season, dive registration for club members will begin at 12:01 AM, April 1st, 2012. There has been a change to the guest diver program with CanSAC this year, please review the new policy at your leisure.
Planned and possible dive events this year may include:
March 11th - 2012 Ice Floe Race - CONFIRMED
March 17th to 23rd - CanSAC hits the Bahamas - Blackbeard's Cruise CONFIRMED
March 31st - Shipwreck Symposium CONFIRMED
April when the ice is out - Bottle Dive and Silt Dredge (Toronto Harbour)
May 25th -27th - Open Water Weekend and Point Traverse Dive Season Kick-off CONFIRMED
June 2nd - BBQ and Awards Night CONFIRMED
June 9th and 10th - Barcelona with Osprey Charters CONFIRMED
June 16th - Toronto Harbour - Sligo Dive
June 23rd - Kingston CONFIRMED
July 7 and 8 - Sanilac Shores Dive Weekend CONFIRMED
July 14th - Penetanguishene
July 19th - The Tiller Wreck Twilight Experience (no vampires!) CONFIRMED
July 21st or 22nd - Welland Scuba Park / Niagara Drift
July 28th and 29th - Possible Cornwall Alternate Date
August 10th to 12th - Tobermory Dive Weekend CONFIRMED
August 24th and 25th - Brockville Dive Weekend CONFIRMED
September 7th to 9th - Point Traverse CONFIRMED
September 21st to 23rd - Cornwall Camping Trip - Season Closer
