Glenn became certified in 1979 after returning from a trip to Cozumel. He joined the club in 2000 and he has since completed Advanced Diver, Rescue Diver, Ice Diver, TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver, Solo Diving, and Divemaster (2010) certifications as well as the DAN Diving Emergency Management Program - including Basic Lifesupport for Dive Professionals, Advanced Oxygen Provider, Automated External Defibrialltor (AED) and Neurological Examiniation, and therefore recognized as a DAN Diving Emergency Specialist .

His favorite dive location is the Bell Island wrecks Conception Bay Newfoundland.
